Frederik Wiedmann scores Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox
Posted on September 3, 2013 by Dan Goldwasser
This past April, composer Frederik Wiedmann was at East-West Studios in Hollywood to record strings for his score to the DC Universe Animated film Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, which was released on home video in July.

The 30-piece string ensemble of the Angel City Studio Orchestra was conducted by orchestrator Hyesu Yang, which added great drama to the dark and energetic score. Additional featured soloists included Chris Bleth on woodwinds, Jimmy Mahlis on ethnic guitars, and Chris Tedesco on trumpet.

In the booth, Wiedmann was assisted by scoring mixer John Rodd, who deftly blended the pre-recorded solists, the live strings, and the synth elements of the score.
