Last August, composer Bobby Krlic recorded his score for The Wrecking Crew at the MGM Scoring Stage at Sony Pictures Studios. Directed by Ángel Manuel Soto and starring Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista, the score for this action-comedy was recorded with a 65-piece string and brass ensemble of the Hollywood Studio Symphony. We’re delighted to be able to share exclusive photos from the scoring sessions with our readers!

Recording took place across multiple dates in August 2025, with the score captured in separate section sessions, allowing the production to focus on the distinctive color and detail of each orchestral layer. Strings and brass were recorded independently, while Krlic’s writing also incorporated substantial electronic and band-driven elements, creating a hybrid sound that complements the film’s fast-moving action and comedic edge.

Conducting duties were handled by Pete Anthony, who led the ensemble through the score’s energetic cues and nuanced transitions.

Inside the booth, Krlic was joined by a seasoned music team overseeing every aspect of the recording and capture. The sessions included music editor Ted Kaplan, score coordinator Matt Justmann, ProTools operator Chandler Harrod, music librarian Joe Zimmerman, scoring mixer Chris Fogel, score technical engineer Prateek Rajagopal, producer Jeff Fierson, and music preparation by Greg Jamrock. Also present were Amazon MGM Studios development executive Winnie Carrillo, Amazon MGM Studios music executives Christina Toth and Judd Korman, and music production consultant Celeste Chada.

The Wrecking Crew is streaming globally now on Prime Video. The Original Soundtrack to The Wrecking Crew with music by Bobby Krlic is available everywhere now from Milan Records.
